I am Malka Yaacobi, a mindfulness teacher, positive psychology coach, and Level 2 Internal Family Systems practitioner. My experience includes attendance at the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program at the University of Massachusetts and qualification as an MBSR instructor. I trained in Internal Family Systems with MBSR founder, Richard Schwartz.

 

GETTING STARTED

What does my approach involve? It is a positive and effective psychological approach that uses targeted, one-on-one coaching. It involves the following steps that will result in a transition of quality and purpose that will help you to overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

 

Assessment

Where are you now and where would you like to go?

 

We will work together to clarify where you are now, and what you like and dislike about your present situation—whether it be career or personal. We will discuss where you see yourself going and what you would like to achieve, as well as the obstacles that might be in your way. We will establish a base from which we will work to get you on the right path.

 

Your Strengths

What are they and how can you use them to achieve your goals?

 

We will review your strengths and experiences and how you can use them to achieve what you want. During this time we may discover strengths that you didn’t realize you possessed or helpful resources that might be at your disposal.

 

Your Options

There may be a number of viable options.

 

You may be surprised at the opportunities that are available to you. Where before you felt stuck, you may now feel the world opening up to you. We will work together to choose the best possible option that will enable you to be happy and productive.

 

Your Action Plan

It is important to have a concrete action plan.

 

While it is helpful to discuss all of these things and discover the new options that are available to you, it is key that you have a focused action plan to ensure you will achieve your goals. A plan that includes new habits and daily practices that keep you on track.

 

You will leave with a fully customized, practical action plan that you will implement to make it all happen. You will leave looking forward to a happier, healthier life!
